We are very excited to welcome you to our new yoga and well-being retreat centre at Molino Del Zegri in Granada, Spain. 

We invite you to join us for a 5-day transformational yoga, pilates and Wellbeing retreat from 10th to 14th May. Reward yourself to a well-deserved time out. Unplug, drop out and tune into mind, body and spirit.

About the villa
Molino Zegri is not a house, but a Home. It as been home to the same established Andalusia family for at least 3 generations. The home as been tastefully decorated and furnished with elegant antiques spanning the decades. Each generation complimenting the previous. The result is unique. Staying in this home is being granted an intimate experience, a glimpse of past present and future of this fabulous dwelling. Outside the building sits in an extensive Estate nestled  against the hillside. Two natural springs issue from the front and side of the home. The grounds are cultivated with mature tree of all variety – fruit trees, pine trees. There is also kitchen Gardens growing produce for the home. Molino Zegri is idyllic, it has resonance of Tolkien’s “Last Homely Home”. This amazing dwelling is also approximately 20 minutes by car to the Historical City of Granada which is home to the Alhambra.

We cannot wait to be back in the sun doing what we do best. We (Symon and Sarah) began running retreats seven years ago in Spain. We have, over the years developed a passion for creating an environment where anyone can rest, recuperate, recharge and reconnect with their whole self. A space in which to experience authentic emotional connections with others, nature and oneself.  To communally savour and enjoy lovingly prepared amazing food, share stories, laughter, friendship and to regain a sense of balance. Our team will support you to return to simple habits and rituals to enable you to forge a deeper connection with yourself.

What the retreat includes

Two yoga classes daily which are a mixture of hatha yoga, yoga Nidra, kundalini, breath work and meditation. The evening classes are slower and more restorative to help the body to wind down, release stress and prepare you for sleep.

Ayurveda self-care practices to cleanse mind and boost the immune system and strengthen emotional resilience.

Yoga Nidra is a special kind of yoga that helps you rest and restore through what’s called ‘yogic sleep’. It’s a deep relaxation technique done with lots of pillows to support no physical movement.  While doing this practice the brain activity reduces and the body enters a healing state.

Restorative yoga deeply relaxes the body and stills the mind.  Releases muscular tension, improving mobility, flexibility and helps soothes the nervous system and is gentle on the body.

Delicious fresh meals cooked each day by our chef Symon.

Massage, facials and various treatments available at an extra cost which is paid directly to the therapist. 

Accommodation, and transfer to and from the airport.

No experience is necessary the sessions are suitable for total beginners or more experience yogis, we cater to all needs and capabilities. This retreat will nourish you and give you ideas to continue a healthy lifestyle when you’re home.

About us
Sarah is a qualified Hatha yoga and well-being teacher and is also trained in yoga of recovery which is the integration of yoga and Ayurveda. She has many years experience as a yoga teacher running and delivering well-being retreats. She is qualification in Mastering the addictive personality by Carolyn Cowan. This practice uses kundalini yoga, pranayama and meditation to powerfully change the way we feel. Sarah will incorporate some of these practices on the retreat to enhance the nervous system and give clients the tools to self regulate and use when they are back home.

Symon started cooking at the age of eight while growing up in Guyana, he comes from a family in which  all the men cook. He trained and worked in London in the high end catering industry. He now runs with Sarah a street food Falafel business, as well as pop up restaurants collaborating with his friends. His approach to cooking is to use fresh whole unrefined ingredients cooked simply to retain both their flavour and nutrition. His style is combining unique flavours and textures with flare and skill to create delicious healthy meals.

Costing
£850 per person in a shared twin room.
£700 per person sharing a double bed with a friend or partner.
£1050 for single occupancy of a double room.

£225 to secure your place with a non-refundable deposit.

Flights to Malaga or Granada airports are not included in the cost and must be booked separately.

The remaining amount needs to be paid 6 weeks before the retreat or can be paid in 2 instalments.

Getting to the retreat centre
Guests book there own flights to Malaga or Granada airports. Transport from the airport is included in the price. Please arrange with your hosts.

Cancellation Policy
We have a limited number of places on the retreat, 10 in total. Unfortunately should you fail to turn up at the last minute we cannot refund you, as it will be too late to fill that space. If we have to cancel the retreat due to covid or unforeseen circumstances a refund will be offered or a place on the next retreat.

However, depending upon circumstances, Sarah is open to negotiating carrying the payment forward to a future retreat apart from the deposit which is not refundable.

We do recommend you get your own travel insurance.

We have appropriate public liability insurance to cover you once you are at the villa.
