Ella

A person with long blonde hair tied back, wearing glasses and a black athletic top, standing in a gym. They are resting their arms on a barbell in a squat rack, with colorful weight plates visible in the background. The setting has a clean, bright atmosphere with a white wall behind them.

Ella understands the importance of movement for both physical and mental wellbeing. She aims to help women feel as confident as possible in lifting weights and being comfortable in the gym environment. She has a versatile skill set, utilising many techniques, including weight lifting, and powerlifting, as well as mobility and flexibility.

Ella looks at several lifestyle factors including menstrual cycle, pelvic floor health, stress and wellbeing, to help clients achieve their goals.

Ella got me out of a pretty dark place. After suffering with overwhelming back pain for years Ella researched my condition and adapted my workouts continuously to improve my fitness, physical ability, strength, flexibility, confidence and maybe most importantly, my mental health.

Welcome From the Chef
Chef Symon Zorba Matthews

Whole-Food Cook | Ayurvedic-Inspired Chef

Welcome to our retreat. I’m Symon, and it’s my pleasure to nourish you during your stay.

My love for cooking began in Guyana, where I grew up surrounded by vibrant Indigenous food traditions and lively communal kitchens. Food was always a celebration—flavourful, shared, and deeply connected to the land. That early experience still guides everything I create.

After moving to the UK, my curiosity for cooking led me into professional kitchens, where I trained in classical techniques and worked alongside exceptional chefs. Over time, I developed a passion for plant-based cuisine and Ayurvedic principles, exploring how herbs, spices, and whole ingredients can support both health and emotional wellbeing.

Today, my approach is simple:use whole, unrefined foods, cook with intention, and let natural flavours shine.

At the retreat, you can expect meals that are fresh, colourful, plant-forward, and thoughtfully designed to complement your yoga practice and inner journey. My aim is to create food that nourishes your body, uplifts your senses, and supports deep restoration.

Thank you for being here.I look forward to sharing balanced, wholesome meals that help you feel grounded and well.
